For all those blatant lovers of gaming...

Hi! My name is Andrew Foradas, and I'm the founder of BlatantGaming! I created this site not only to show off my own portfolio, but also as a celebration of gaming itself. Here, I will show off special projects I've worked on. Whether it be tabletop, digital, backseat or anything in-between, all gaming and all gamers are valid and welcome in this space. I hope you enjoy!

My Projects

Boxed-In

"Bob is about to leave his apartment for a sad, but important commitment when he is suddenly thrust into a world of cardboard boxes, pillow forts, and pirate adventures. With only his childhood teddy bear, Bonzo, and a toy dart gun to help him, Bob must move forward through the strange place, and confront his trauma in order to escape his comfort zone. "

Soul-Ladra

“In Soul-Ladra you play as a young boy named Vitaly, who after getting separated from his mother, gets his soul stolen by a monstrous cat. To get it back, Vitaly must escape the mysterious woods he finds himself in, avoiding the shadowy beasts lurking in the dark. We tried to put ourselves in the shoes of Vitaly when designing the setting his story takes place in. He is a lost child, the unfamiliar world around him is large and intimidating. The trees tower over Vitaly, shadows envelop the world around him, creatures seem to be lurking around every corner. Vitaly is alone, he has no map, and has no choice but to explore the environment in order to find a way out of his predicament.”

Cult Classic Killer

This is a tabletop game that combines elements of classic RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons with economic and resource Management games like Catan. Inspired by classic horror movies from the 80s, players take on the role of either the cunning killer, or the clever survivors trying to escape their clutches. Survivors must outrun and outmaneuver the Killer while they complete tasks to progress in their scary story. Players can choose from one of several classic 80s movie archetypes for their character, like Cheerleader or Nerd for Survivors and Slasher or Nightmare for Killers. Both types of players have unique abilities that can be used during the story to help them succeed.

Spaceman Dave!

This was the very first "game" I ever developed. Really, it is a prototype testing the basics of designing a 2D game in Unity.  The concepts I learned while creating this game included basic coding in C#, animating character movement, and level design.

It is a harder-than-it-looks platformer about a guy named Dave who keeps losing all his change, and forgetting where he parked his Spaceship!
